How Humanism Changed a Life

We have drama to share at our next meeting when Vietnam War veteran and Humanist Minister Jim Cusick will tell us about his journey from war to peace in an exploration of his life.

From birth in post-Blitz, 1947 Glasgow and growing up in post-war UK, to immigrant life in Brooklyn and induction into the U.S. Air Force and conflicts in Vietnam, plus duty in the Philippines, Okinawa and Korea, to post-war alienation at home and finding sanity in the Church of Humanism, Jim Cusick’s life experiences will keep you fascinated.

A program of the Church of Humanism. All are welcome. Followed by socializing and lite refreshments.

Held at: The Universalist Society

4 West 76 St (at CPW), NYC. (Use 76th St entrance.)
